The first permanent Dual Surface Tennis Court in the world has been built in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is half/clay, half/hard variation, with stadium size dimensions.

The 1st in the United States special event on a Hybrid Court took place on November 19, 2011 . The Teaching Pros from Grand Strand competed against each other in the First Annual Myrtle Beach Tennis Cup.

COME PLAY AND TRAIN ON THE HYBRID

First in the world tennis tournament on a Dual Surface-Hybrid Open 2013 (Men's Division) took place in Myrtle Beach, SC on March 29-31, 2013. Players from 4 Continents competed in this historic event. Players from 5 countries including Argentina, Canada, Greece, Nigeria and USA played. Players from all tennis demographics including juniors, collegiate athletes, ITF Satellite Players and Seniors over 30 & 40 played. We would like to thank Sponsors, Players, Staff and Volunteers for making this first Hybrid Open successful.

First in the world tennis tournament on a Dual Surface_Hybrid Open 2013 Women's Division took place in Myrtle Beach, SC on October 25-27, 2013. Players from 5 Continents: North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa competed in this event. Players from Algeria, India,

Brazil, Bulgaria, Ukraine and USA played. The tournament was won by Elitsa Kostova (Bulgaria) over Katya Yergina (Ukraine). Special thanks to the players, volunteers and sponsors for making this historic event a tournament to remember.
